Hello, and welcome to my blog!
As I’m sure you’ve discerned by now, my name is Mikaela and I’m an artist. I live and work in Atlanta, Georgia, and am currently studying the liberal arts at Agnes Scott College.
I have put aside four years of making, and am starting to rebuild my work from the foundations of materiality, mark-making, and intuition. This blog is a chronicle of my process, and will attempt to expose the structure of my making. Transparency and vulnerability are essential elements of my process as they aid me in my goal of making honest and uninhibited work.
